SWOT-STRENGTH WEAKNESS OPPRTUNITY THREATS.

My strength:

• Proper arrangement and management of my studies.
• Good in time management without wasting time.
• My interest in Chemistry ad Mathematics are very impressive.
• Hardworking in looking for other useful resources of my studies.
• Ready to learn and ready to help others.
• Use my brain smartly without torturing it. Hahahaha=D
• Well-talented in calculation.

My weakness:

• Weak in memorising. Memorise hater.
• Weak in Physics.
• Easily being attracted by other enthuatistic games or movies even exam is just around the corner.
• Daydreaming always.
• Always feel sleepy even sleep enough 8 hours.
• Weak in absorption of the knowledge fast, need to study twice times above to memorise it. 

My opportunities:

2. University Sydney Australlia.
3. National University Singapore.

To be successfully enrol into these university, i have to look for Taylor's College counsellor to provide more information for me to take into consideration.

Taylor Placement Centre is a good visitation place.

Do more hospital attachment to improve my knowledge about the field i will enter in the successive years. As an example, Pharmacy field.

My threats:

• Too much competition in order to enter the university.
• Perserverance is a threats for me. (NOT enough hardwork)
• Interview for entering the university fails.
• Competitor that is very competitive competitive competitive!!

The TGC gives students the edge to start and stay ahead. The TGC ensure that Taylor’s graduates are capable in the following areas:

DISCIPLINE-SPECIFIC-KNOWLEDGE:
I am quite understanding about the theory and field that i had learnt in my subject area, Biology, Chemistry, Physic and Mathematics. I am sure i have a better understanding for Chemistry and Mathematics.

COGNATIVE CAPABILITIES: I am the type of person who will learn autonomously, i am able to acquire knowledge and manage the information properly. However, i think i am not very familiar by appliying theory to practical like the experiment in college. I think i need to improve my performance in practical skills. I will think critically in order to look for some effective ways to solve the problem. I am able to analyse problem comprehensively and i will try to improve it to a more master level of analyzing problem=D
SOFT SKILLS
Communication Skills: I think my speaking and writing skills still need to improve somehow. I think it is not strong enough. For organise, synthesize and present information properly, i think i am quite good but i think i still need to improve it.

Interpersonal skills: I feel well and comfortable when i work in a team with friends. I will like to share idea and listen to the others ideas. I enjoy the teamwork and appreciate this learning process very much. I enjoy having leadership skills too.

Intrapersonal skills: I managed my time very well. I felt guilty that wasting my time by doing nothing , so i won't allow myself to waste time especially in Cambridge A- Level. I felt that i am more independent in revision, i like to search the information at web rather than asking for teacher whenever i am not understanding about the academic. However, when i am still not understanding about it, i will ask teacher for help. I will spend time for exercise every week, i managed my time in a proper way i think.

Cosmopolitan thinking and intercultural competence: I will form opinions and views from a global perspective without constrict in a certain field. I have also awareness of and sensitivity of the cross-cultural difference. I always show my respect and concern to other different culture.

Technology savvy: I think i am weak in keyboarding so i need a much more improvement because i know that it is a very important skills as we continued our path in the successive years. I think i am not expert in using ICT  and other technologies. I hope i can have a sharp improvement at the following years.

IMPROVEMENT I NEED:

1. I must do my revision everyday in order to get a flying colors results that are 4A* in my studies. Anything that i am not understanding well, i must get help from friends and teachers.
2. Search for information on the website to gain extra knowledge about the subject that you learnt.
3.I can practise speaking with friends with english language in order to speak more fluently with english. For writing, i shall reading more books in order to imrove my writing skills. 
4. For IT and computer technologies, i shall spend time on keyboarding in order to be competent in this field. Everything with technologies are very vital in life, i shall spend more time on this.
5. Be more punctual and seem time management as a very imporatant skills.
6.Be discipline and respect among others.
7.Ready to learn.

REFLECTION ASSIGNMENT

I am a visual learner. As a visual learner,i used the following method to improve my performance in studies. The following methods enable me to make clear about whatever i had studied.

Using mindmap:

I like to use mindmap because it makes my studies more comfortable as long as it is in a short form and showing a clear details about my studies. I think mindmap will make my studies more easier. I can memorize the definition i had learnt in a more proper way. Whenever the exam is just around the corner, i think i can use this mindmap smartly. In a restricted time, i can learn a lot of useful and brilliant information without rushing my time.

Highlight the point:

I would like to highlight the point that i think it is very important for me. However, i mo not used to highlight the whole book with colour because i think it is a little bit messy. A suitable and approprite highlighting is very vital for me i think. If i am not highlighting anything, i won't be able to know which point is more important and whether should i concentrate on it. Highlighting really make my studies comfortable and with ease.

Search for image:

As i am not clear about information about certain subjects, i will like to search for the image of that info and making it clear in my mind. This enable me to understand and clarify what i had learnt before. I will also search some videos in youtube to help me understand better . An image can keep in my mind for a long time and for better understanding. As i m not clear about..such as the plant cell structure ,i should find the image on web and look some tutorial in youtube .

Drawing:

I used to draw in the subject biology. I draw the cell, heart,monocotyledon and dicotyledon plant as well as blood capillaries. Drawing really enhance my progress in studies. Sometimes subject MAthematic also requires us to draw graph, diatribution table, polygon and somemore others. As a conclusion, every subject needs to draw to ease our studies.

My VAK

VISUAL AUDITORY KINESTHETIC

  

As i am a learner, i am a visual type learner for most as shown in the results of VAK test. In class, i will jot down the notes simply as long as i can understand it. However, i think i am also a auditory learner, i can easily memorise the lyrics of the songs when i listen to the song for the first few times. Although the results show that i am a visual learner, i think i am also an auditory learner. Without listening whatever teachers had taught, i think i can't jot down and complete a useful note. I need a combination of visual and auditory to achieve the success in my academic.

My Smart Goal

My Smart Goals =D

SPECIFIC: I want to become a pharmacyst, a good and excellent contributor in medical field, ready to help out the wanted, ready to give advice to my patient , ready to show my caring to them.

I swear i should be a responsible pharmacyst

• cure of a disease;
• elimination or reduction of symptoms;
• arresting or slowing a disease process;
• prevention of disease;
• diagnosis of disease; and
• desired alterations in physiological processes, all with minimum risk to patients.

MEASURABLE: I want to achieve 4A* in my Cambridge A-Level studies. I should show my hardwork in order to complete this task. If i get flying colors results, maybe i can further my pharmacy studies in my dream college, Monash University in Australia. i can obtain different experiences on medical research at different countries.

ASSIGNABLE: I should end my Cambridge A-Level studies by 1.5 years. In this 1.5 years, i shoud spend time in a proper and beneficial way without wasting too much time. I should also take every semester exam as an important challenge for me to improve my studies. 

REALISTIC: I will spend my time on doing hospital attachment in clinic or hospital whenever i am free to gain more experience about how pharmacist's job actually. I will listen to the advice of some doctor and pharmacyst. I always ready to improve myself and by eliminating all my weakness. I want to perform well in the pharmacy field.

TIME-BASED: I will graduate from Cambridge A-Level by 1.5 years and achieve my flying colors 4A* goals as well as achieve the enrolment into Monash Unversity Australlia. I will try my best for this one and a half years!=D
